Venessa Bornost earned her law degree from Nova Southeastern University School of Law and received a Bachelor's Degree from Florida State University in Criminology.  Ms. Bornost worked as prosecutor in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit handling DUI's, criminal traffic violations, misdemeanor crimes, drug offenses, domestic violence cases, and felony cases.  Ms. Bornost's experience as a prosecutor involved jury trials, nonjury trials, motion to suppress arguments, and daily courtroom criminal procedures.
